Information Due to a recent server hack our database has become corrupt. Someone had hacked into the server through a vulnerability in the WordPress installation of WordPress MU (wordpress multi user) and infested this website and many others on this server with botnets and other hacking tools. In the process they corrupted the database and made it un recoverable.
Since this website is powered by WordPress and since WordPress is primarily database driven almost all content has been lost.
The movement is still strong, our visitor traffic is a testament to that. When I first realized Support OWS had been compromised we were ranked in the top 100k websites in the world, a huge accomplishment considering this website was built with nothing more than an idea and a willingness to support all of you fighting to make things right in this world.
We have been hit hard and have been faced with a decision to either give up on this little project or to rebuild. We choose to rebuild.

So "supportows.org" is now defunct. But they are working on putting it back together. Hackers like this need to be stopped. They aren't helping anyone, either side. And they certainly are not Freeing information or taking down child pornography.
Hackers that destroy systems are the worst kind of computer user. And they certainly are not very good at their art else they would be in and out without being noticed. if anyone hears anything about this serious breach of conduct, and crime: please speak up.
